Splice
My good buddy Jeff (CG animator extraordinare) has been trying to describe to me the craziness of the character design for the film Splice he has been working on recently. Some pics were finally released and include one of the scenes (see above) that he helped craft.
With Guillermo Del Toro producing, Adrien Brody starring, my buddy Jeff animating and these creepy images *shudder* make it a must see for me.

Did you ever see Devil’s Backbone, or just recommend it? Pan’s Labyrinth was great. I’ve been tempted to see the Hellboy movies for the characters alone but can’t get over the lameness of the word “hellboy.”
